Antropov and Moore held out of TOR lineup…

TSN’s Darren Dreger is reporting that both Nik Antropov and Dominic Moore are being held out of the lineup against New Jersey tonight.

Section303.org’s Jeremy K. Gover wrote a blog yesterday that included a suggestion that Antropov would fill an immediate need. Furthermore, earlier today, hockeybuzz.com’s Brandon Felder reported that the Preds were on the phone with Toronto reportedly fielding options to bring in the big russian winger.

Moore, while not figured to be related to Predators trade talks, is also being held out and that’s rather surprising on the league front. The Leafs have been trying to restructure Moore’s contract as of late and scratching him tonight suggests the possiblity that those talks have stalled and they expect to move him tonight or tomorrow before the deadline.

So, in short, Antropov’s scratching is the most notable for Preds fans tonight.

Stay tuned for more…

With Miro Satan and Brendan Morrison on waivers, I’d much rather see Poile pick up one of them, and either deal away a UFA for whatever he can get, or send one of the rookies back down to Milwaukee…

Sure to be an interesting final 24 hours, though.
