NASHVILLE PREDATORS RECALL RASK, REASSIGN FORSBERG AND WATSON

Nashville, Tenn. (April 25, 2013) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Joonas Rask (YOH-nuhs RASK) from Milwaukee (AHL), while assigning forwards Filip Forsberg and Austin Watson to the Admirals.

Rask, 23 (3/24/90), notched a goal and an assist in his first and only AHL game on April 19 against Charlotte. The 5-10, 176-pound defensive and face-off specialist was Nashville’s seventh choice, 198th overall (seventh round), in the 2010 Entry Draft and is the younger brother of Boston Bruins netminder Tuukka Rask.

Watson has appeared in six games for Nashville since his first career recall on April 7. He scored his first NHL goal in Tuesday night’s win over Calgary. Forsberg notched his first career point/assist in his fourth NHL game on Tuesday.
