Nashville Predators goaltending prospect Mark Dekanich has been returned to the AHL-affiliate Milwuakee Admirals just 24 hours after being recalled by the parent club. “Dexshow” was called up due to Anders Lindback suffering from an illness that was so bad, he wasn’t on the bench during the second and third periods of Thursday night’s contest against the Vancouver Canucks.

NASHVILLE PREDATORS REASSIGN GOALTENDER MARK DEKANICH
Nashville, Tenn. (February 19, 2011) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Mark Dekanich (MAHRK DEH-kuh-nihtch) to Milwaukee (AHL).
Dekanich, 24 (5/10/86), spent one day on the NHL roster, but did not dress for a game in his third appearance on the Predators roster this season. The 2011 AHL All-Star is ranked fourth in the American League in wins (20), goals-against average (2.04) and save percentage (.929).
Fresh off defeating the Western Conference’s top team, the Predators complete their current four-game home stand tonight at 7 p.m. when they face-off against the Phoenix Coyotes (102.9 The Buzz).
