Preds have recalled Kevin Henderson from Milwaukee today…

Predators Breaking News

Robby Stanley of Smashville 24/7 reported yesterday that the Nashville Predators have recalled left wing Kevin Henderson from the Milwaukee Admirals.

Stanley also reported that Daniel Bang will be recalled.

Henderson, 26, has scored 16 goals at the AHL level this year and is a former Kitchener Ranger teammate of Preds forwards Nick Spaling and Matt Halischuk.

Assuming he’s in the lineup, Henderson will make his NHL debut on Friday against the Chicago Blackhawks. He will become the sixth Predator to do so this season.

Head Coach Barry Trotz mentioned his name as a recall candidate following the overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild on March 9. The at-home back-to-back’s that weekend produced injuries to Colin Wilson and Patric Hornqvist. Wilson’s been out of the lineup since and had surgery this past Monday.

A native of Toronto, Canada, Henderson signed a one-year, two-way deal with Nashville on July 1, 2012.

We will update this post with the official press release when it becomes available.
