Solid goaltending derails win streak

It seems that Philly has a goaltender – Martin Biron.

Posting 31 saves, and getting goal support from Joffrey Lupul, Mike Richards and Claude Giroux is a recipe for victory.  Sadly, that victory came against your Nashville Predators, 4-1, ending an impressive six-game win streak.

Pekka Rinne said it best in the post-game, “No excuses.” So I’m not going to make any for them.

Martin Erat had the lone goal from Nashville on a wrist shot that trickled through.
