PRESS RELEASE: Chris Mueller recalled from Milwaukee

Nashville, Tenn. (February 21, 2012) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Chris Mueller (KRIHS MEW-luhr) from Milwaukee (AHL).

Mueller, 25 (3/6/86), has been recalled twice already this season, going pointless in four NHL games. The West Seneca, N.Y., native is ranks seventh in the AHL in goals in addition to being tied for the League lead in game-winning goals (6). The 5-11, 203-pound center – who appeared in the 2012 AHL All-Star Classic last month – also leads the Admirals in points (23g-15a-38pts) through 48 games in 2011-12.

The Nashville Predators kick off a four-game homestand, their final extended stay of the season, tonight against the 2010-11 Western Conference Champion Vancouver Canucks (7 p.m., FS-TN, 102.5 The Game, Daily’s Super Tuesday).
