(April 24, 2011) – With tonight’s win over the Anaheim Ducks, the Nashville Predators have advanced to Round Two of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the team’s first foray into the Western Conference Semifinals. “This win was arguably the biggest in franchise history and clinching in front of 17,113 of the best fans in the League made it that much sweeter,” Nashville Predators Chief Executive Officer Jeff Cogen said. “This city has rallied around this team, and the fans’ desire to ‘Stand With Us’ really made the difference in helping push us to our first Western Conference Semifinal. The Western Conference Semifinals will begin this Thursday, April 28. Opponent, dates and start times for the Predators WCS matchup will be confirmed with the NHL after the completion of all Western Conference Quarterfinal series. An update will be announced at that time
