TSN puts Preds fans on display for all of Canada to see…

Suter greeted

TSN’s Farhan Lalji did a great piece on the Nashville Predator fanbase this afternoon. TSN, if you don’t know, is ESPN in Canada so this is a huge deal. What’s even a bigger deal? Lalji presented the Preds and the Nashville hockey market in a great light. A nice, refreshing change from the usual.

The story is below.

SPECIAL THANKS to Tiffany Francis for the heads up that this was available online.

I don’t think Luongo knows what he’s in for tomorrow night! It’s one thing in the regular season, and Chicago, but it a totally different beast when you come into Smashville in the Playoffs.

I just saw the story run on a Vancouver news station.

The Predators have a LOT of fans in British Columbia too!
I live in Kelowna, BC – where Shea Weber played for the Rockets – as did former Pred Vernon Fiddler. Weber and Franson played in a small community north of us called Sicamous and here is the story from our local TV station: http://www.chbcnews.ca/video/index.html?releasePID=qt6AJozzyfA9YnxjJ7u76refiuoJgJv2

Saw the piece on TSN (I live near Toronto), sounds like y’all know how to enjoy the greatest sport on earth. Did some research on Cell Block 303, sounds like when I get to Smashville to see a game (hopefully v. the Flyers), I’ll HAVE to sit there. I’ll be paying far more attention to the audio on all Preds games I watch until then.
    Good Luck 2-nite!!!!
btw most folks around here HATE the “Canuckleheads” too!!!!!!!!!!!
