NHLTweetUp complete with silent auction is TONIGHT!
- Updated: June 7, 2010
The day is finally here!
In an effort to support the victims of the recent floods in Middle Tennessee, the Tin Roof at 1516 Demonbreun in downtown Nashville will host an NHL TweetUp, complete with a silent auction who’s proceeds will go to those effected by the recent floods. The event goes from 6:00pm to 9:00 pm Central.
Dani Muccio of NHLTweetUp.com and Mark Willoughby of TheViewFrom111.com have combined forces and reached out to all 30 NHL teams and have managed to secure several donations for a silent auction on-site and even an eBay charity auction online for those outside the Middle Tennessee area who want to help out as well.
Some of the items up for auction include a David Legwand autographed jersey, a signed poster of Ryan Suter and Shea Weber wearing their respective Olympic medals, a full locker room tour among many others.

As mentioned earlier, if you don’t live in the area and/or can’t make the TweetUp in person, that’s okay, there’s still a way for you to bid on items and help out! An eBay charity auction has been set up featuring items donated by other NHL teams. Items included are a Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin autographed Pittsburgh Penguins puck, a team autographed New York Rangers stick, an Alexei Kovalev Ottawa Senators jersey and many other items! Click here to bid on the items. And remember, if you don’t win, you at least helped raise the price!
But the fun doesn’t stop there (although, quite honestly, that would be enough for any one person), Predators bloggers Buddy and Jackson Oakes of PredsOnTheGlass.com will be broadcasting his POTG Radio show live from the event! So come meet up with your fellow hockey fans, bid on some silent auction items and call into POTG Radio, all in one place!
See you tonight!
