Preds dancers, silent auction items to appear at Agape’s Glitter and Glam…
- Updated: July 16, 2011
Question: During these long summer months, is there a better way to spend a Sunday night than wine tasting, free d’oeuvre and watching a fashion show all at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel along side the Nashville Predators dancers and ice girls?
Answer: Yes. Doing all that and helping out our furry friends at the same time. (And then tuning into Dawson McAllister on 107.5 the River on your way home from said event, but that’s just a shameless plug.)
On Sunday, July 17, you can bid on amazing silent auction items while watching WSMV’s Better Nashville’s Kacy Hagerty host a fashion show for dogs and humans alike. The only Preds angle isn’t the Dancers and the Ice Girls. Some of the noteworthy silent auction items are Preds related too.
Sure they’ll have a romance package for two for the Lowes Hotel and sure they’ll have a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry and sure they’ll have a Nashville Roller Girls gift basket (that one’s for you Buddy Oakes), but the Preds have donated some pretty sweet items as well.
Want a Stand With Us street banner that was signed by the entire team? That’ll be there. Want a Shea Weber autographed stick? That’ll be there too. How about a Martin Erat or Jordin Tootoo autographed pucks? Those will be there as well.
So, if nothing else, head on down to the Lowes Vanderbilt on Sunday night, drink some wine and bid on some Preds items, all in the name of helping Agape Animal Rescue and all the hard work they do each and every day for homeless pets in Middle Tennessee. While you’re there though, bid often and early on some Preds silent auction items.
