Jarvinen has spent the past two seasons with Nashville’s top minor league affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals. Known more as a big-bodied defensive stalwart, he amassed 23 points in 129 games since coming over from his native Finland in the summer of 2012.
At 6’3″, 220 lbs, it’s a tough loss for the organization from a depth perspective but, as we wrote about a couple weeks ago HERE, this news actually does have it’s benefits. The subtraction of Jarvinen loosens up a Milwaukee blueline bursting at the seems with talent.
