Kevin Allen of USA Today joined The Greg Pogue & Big Joe Show on 94.9 Game2 here in Nashville on Tuesday morning. The topics ranged from Barry Trotz being hired by the Washington Capitals yesterday to the Stanley Cup Playoffs to what new head coach Peter Laviolette can bring to the Nashville Predators.

Allen posted a great article (per usual) this morning about why Washington made the right hire. He called it “the franchise’s most important event since Alex Ovechkin was drafted.” You can read the article HERE.
