Preds, Hurricanes roster announced for tonight’s game in Raleigh…
- Updated: September 23, 2011
The Nashville Predators and Carolina Hurricanes have announced their roster for tonight’s pre-season game in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Looking at the announced slate, it’s apparent Head Coach Barry Trotz is planning to have his big guns suit up for the home pre-season opener tomorrow night. Shea Weber, Ryan Suter, Pekka Rinne, Martin Erat and Nashville’s leading scorer of the pre-season Colin Wilson are all held out of tonight’s contest.
Another interesting note is, with Roman Josi out with an injury, all three of the other young bluechip prospects are in the lineup. Ryan Ellis, Teemu Laakso and Mattias Ekholm are all fighting for a spot on the Nashville bottom pairing.
CarolinaHurricanes.com has a “Listen Live” button on their website but our good friend over at Canes Country, Bob Wage, is saying that it’s for local listeners only. So, a heads up on that.
Puck drops at 6:00pm Central.
